The "Rondos Kinderland" is located right at the top of the gondola. It is very compact, meaning parents can watch from the nearby restaurant while toddlers practice with magic carpets and small hills.
🏔️ Progression
The transition from Kinderland to the main slopes is very natural here. The "Engelstock" run is a long, easy blue slope that's perfect for a first real mountain descent after the Kinderland.

Sattel is known for being very family-friendly with its pricing. They often have family deals that include lunch. Children under 6 ski for free.
🍲 Food
Multiple mountain inns (Berggasthäuser) surround the beginner area, offering traditional Swiss food. Most have great sun terraces with views of the Kinderland.
