Tiny Champs Back to Resorts

Rigi

The "Queen of the Mountains" offers gentle slopes. Allthough not the best area for the very, first days, as the slopes are in general just a little too steep.

โ„๏ธ Snowvillage & Amenities

Rigi Staffel offer small, gentle areas for beginners, including some race gates and playful obstacles.

๐Ÿ”๏ธ Progression

Once the "Trainer" is mastered, additional t-bars are waiting including the run via the rotstock, make sure you dont take the very steep slope back down, instead take the scenic route towards Rigi Klรถsterli.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Price

While the cogwheel train can be pricey, but you can use SBB half faire / GA to get there, the skiing is already included in the train ticket.

๐Ÿฒ Food

Rigi is famous for its mountain hospitality. Restaurants like in Rigi Staffel or the ones in Kaltbad are very welcoming to families and offer great local specialties.

๐Ÿ›ท Activities besides skiing

Rigi is a haven for non-skiers. You'll find incredible sledding runs and kilometers of perfectly groomed winter walking paths. The Mineralbad & Spa in Kaltbad is also a great option for a relaxing afternoon, but not the most child friendly.

๐Ÿ“ Location

Accessible via cogwheel train from Vitznau or Arth-Goldau, or via cable car from Weggis. The journey up the mountain is an adventure in itself!
