Klewenalp

The "Kinderland" at Klewenalp is perfectly designed for the very first steps on snow. It features magic carpets, colorful obstacles, and a gentle slope that's safe for toddlers. The ski school is highly experienced with young children.

Once the basics are mastered in the Kinderland, toddlers can progress to the blue slopes around Klewenstock. The terrain is mostly gentle and wide, providing a safe environment for building confidence before tackling more challenging runs.

Klewenalp offers special family day passes. Children under 6 usually ski for free when accompanied by an adult. It's one of the more affordable family options in Central Switzerland.

The mountain restaurants like Panorama and Klewenstock offer child-friendly menus (nuggets, pasta, etc.) and have plenty of high chairs and space for strollers.

There's a fantastic sledding run that goes from Klewenalp down to Stockhütte. You can also enjoy beautiful winter walking paths that are accessible with a robust stroller.

Located in Beckenried, Nidwalden. It's easily reachable via the A2 highway and a scenic cable car ride from the village center.
